The Little Red Hen
Once upon a time, there was a little red hen. She lived on a big, green farm. She had fluffy feathers and a bright red comb on her head.
The little red hen liked to walk around the farm. She said, “Cluck, cluck!” She saw a big brown cow. “Moo!” said the cow.
The hen saw a white sheep. “Baa!” said the sheep.
The hen saw a pink pig. "Oink! Oink!" said the pig.
One day, the little red hen found some seeds. "Look!" she said. "I found seeds!"
She wanted to plant the seeds. She said, "Who will help me plant the seeds?"
The cow said, "Not I!"
The sheep said, "Not I!"
The pig said, "Not I!"
So, the little red hen planted the seeds all by herself. She worked very hard.
The little red hen waited for the seeds to grow. Soon, they became tall wheat.
The hen said, "Who will help me cut the wheat?"
The cow said, "Not I!"
The sheep said, "Not I!"
The pig said, "Not I!"
So, the little red hen cut the wheat all by herself. She was very tired.
Then, she made bread from the wheat. It smelled yummy. The hen said, "Who will help me eat the bread?"
The cow said, "I will!"
The sheep said, "I will!"
The pig said, "I will!"
The little red hen said, "No! You did not help me plant, cut, or make the bread. I will eat it myself!"
And she did! The end.

The Little Pig's Muddy Day
Patty was a little pink pig. She lived on a farm with lots of other animals. There were cows that said "Moo!" and chickens that said "Cluck!" But Patty loved to play in the mud.
One sunny morning, Patty woke up and saw a big, muddy puddle. "Oink! Oink!" she squealed, and ran to it. The mud was cool and squishy between her little toes.
She rolled in the mud. She splashed in the mud. She even made a muddy mustache! She was so happy!
Then, the farmer called, "Patty! Time for lunch!" Patty was all muddy! She ran to the barn, leaving muddy footprints everywhere.
The farmer smiled. "You are a very muddy pig, Patty!" he said. He used a hose to wash all the mud off. Patty giggled.
She ate her yummy food, then took a nap in her clean stall. Even though she was clean now, Patty was already dreaming of another muddy day!
